Adam McMahon is a partner in the law firm of Davis & Harman LLP. Adam works with retirement plan service providers and employers to help them develop real-world solutions for implementing the requirements imposed on them by ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and other federal laws impacting retirement savings. Adam also keeps clients up to date on the latest legislative and regulatory developments impacting retirement savings.
Prior to joining Davis & Harman, Adam was Associate Counsel at MissionSquare Retirement (formerly ICMA-RC), where he advised MissionSquare on the design and administration of governmental retirement plans, welfare benefit plans, and IRAs. While at MissionSquare, Adam also worked on issues related to the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
Adam graduated from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, where he served as a Teaching Assistant for the law school’s legal writing program and as a Staff Editor and Editorial Assistant for the Catholic University Law Review.
